2MM Anti Static Self Leveling Epoxy Floor Paint
Maydos JD-505 is a kind of solvent-free two-component static conductive self-leveling epoxy paint. It can achieve a smooth and beautiful surface which is dust-resistant, anti-corrosion and easy to clean. It can also avoid damage of electronic components and fire due to accumulation of static. Suitable for areas of such industries where anti-static is necessary as electronics, telecommunication, printing, precise machinery, powder, chemical, ordnance, space and engine room.

Where to Use:
It is suitable for areas of such industries where anti-static is necessary as electronics, telecommunication, printing, precise machinery, powder, chemical, ordnance, space and engine room. Especially for workshop and storage areas of electronic instruments and integrated circuit which are highly sensitive to static.
Requirements of the base:
1. Concrete strength≥C25;
2. Flatness: the maximum fall head between highest and lowest point <3mm (measure with 2M running rule)
3. Press polish of the concrete surface with cement mortar is recommended.
4. Water & damp proof treatment is suggested before application of leveling layer of the concrete.
Application Procedure:
1. Substrate preparation: Surfaces should be smooth, clean, dry and free from loose particles, oil, grease, and all other contaminants.
2. Primer: Mix JD-D10 A and JD-D10B based on 1:1 and the reference coverage is 0.12-0.15kg/㎡.The main purpose of this primer is to seal the substrate completely and avoid air-bubbles in the coat. The paint should be stirred thoroughly after mix, then apply the mixture directly by roller. After application, wait for 8 hours and then continue the next step.
Inspection standard: even film with certain brightness.
3. Undercoat: Mix WTP-MA and WTP-MB based on 5:1 first, then add quartz powder (1/2 of the mixture of A and B) into the mixture, stir it well and apply with trowel. The consumption quantity of A and B is 0.3kg /sqm. You can do it one coat at one time. After the whole application, wait another 8 hours, grind it, clean the sanding dust and then continue the next procedure.
Inspection standard for the undercoat: Non-sticky to hand, no softening, no nail print if you scratch the surface.
4. Static conductive copper foil: Lay the copper foil every 6 meters vertically and horizontally. Then seal the copper foil with solvent-free static putty layer.
5. Static conductive putty layer: After the static conductive undercoat is dry, mix CFM-A and CFM-B based on 6:1 and then apply directly with spatula. The consumption quantity is 0.2kg/sqm. Wait for 12 hours before the next procedure.
Inspection standard: Non-sticky, no soft feeling and no scratch when scratch it with nail.
6. Static conductive Primer: It is made up of JD-D11 A and JD-D11 B. Mix these two components together based on 4:1 by weight and apply by roller. The consumption quantity of paint is 0.1kg/sqm. After application, wait for 8 hours, sand it with grinding machine, clean the dust and then continue the next procedure.
7. Finish: Mix JD-505 A and JD-505 B based on 5:1 and apply the mixture with spatula. Get rid of bubbles occurred during application with tooth roller. The consumption quantity is 0.8kg/sqm.
Inspection standard: even film, no bubbling, uniform color and scratch resistance.
Maintenance: 5-7 days. Don’t put it into use or wash it with water and other chemicals.
Application Notes of Finish
Mixing: JD-505 A may have some sediment during storage. Stir it well before mixing with B component. Pour JD-505 A and JD-505 B into the barrel according to the mixing ratio and stir completely for 2 minutes. Don’t scrape out the mixture which sticks on the interior surface and bottom of the tin or uneven mixture may occur.
Reference coverage: 0.8~2㎏/㎡
Film Thickness: about 0.8mm
Application conditions: temperature ≥10 ℃; Relative humidity < 85%
